Music has been my passion since a very young age. I began my musical journey as a self-taught seven-year-old, constantly listening to and reproducing repertoire pieces my dad would share with me. I naturally trained my ear almost every day, driven by curiosity and a deep love for music. I began piano lessons at the age of 9. At 17, I earned third place in an essay competition on music composition, which awarded me a scholarship to pursue my studies at the University of the Americas in Puebla, Mexico. I graduated with honours, majoring in Piano Performance and Music Education. Throughout my music career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach music at elementary schools and academies, perform in numerous piano recitals, conduct orchestra ensembles and choirs. I’ve been teaching for over 25 years, as sharing my knowledge and helping others grow brings me enormous fulfillment.

Although I’ve always loved music, it wasn’t until after high school that I decided to pursue playing an instrument professionally. After a few years of dedication, I was admitted to the music program I had my heart set on. I have a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance from Humber College. With close to 20 years of teaching experience, I’ve taught a wide variety of music styles to students at any point along their musical journey. Lessons may include, but are not limited to, understanding music theory, improving playing technique, building repertoire, improvising, and reading standard notation. And there’s plenty of room to have fun along the way! I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to learning an instrument, so I emphasize that each lesson must meet the student where they are in skill level and desire. Together, we can achieve all of your musical goals!

Theadora
Koski

Began piano studies at the age of six and advanced to the concert level repertoire of the Royal Conservatory of Music program in just five years. Her official RCM examinations resulted in multiple Provincial Gold Medals and, in 2023, the National RCM Gold Medal for the highest level 7 exam mark in the country. She earned her ARCT Performer’s Diploma in 2025. Beyond her focus on musicianship, technique and exam preparation, Theadora takes great joy in performance and works with a passion on concert repertoire. With multiple first place awards in international competitions, Theadora welcomes every opportunity to perform at festivals, public events, retirement homes and weddings. Inspired by her teachers and mentors, Theadora began her teaching endeavors after studying pedagogy through the RCM curriculum. After receiving an RCM certification in piano teaching, Theadora now balances her time between performances, pre-college music studies and teaching piano. Whether accompanying her students to perform at local outreach events or offering preparation and encouragement towards festivals and examinations, Theadora enjoys supporting every student on the musical journey. Beyond piano, Theadora has a passion for long-distance running, skiing, and following the classical music scene of the world stage.

Naomi
Williams

Naomi began her piano studies at the age of 4 and her passion for music has grown ever since. At the age of 12 she began taking piano and pedagogy lessons with Mrs. Cheryl Graham, and has continued under her tutelage ever since. After Naomi was chosen to compete in the 2026 OMFA provincials in which she placed second out of 60 competitors in Level 10, she went on to compete in the 2026 FCMF Nationals and  placed first in the qualifying round. She also completed her Level 10 exam for which she received First Class Honours with Distinction, and is currently pursuing her ARCT Performers Diploma. Adding to her passion to teach, compete and perform classical music, Naomi also enjoys playing hymns at her local church, playing by ear on worship teams in various locations, as well as accompanying a large homeschool choir. Along with her love for collaborating with other instruments such as cello, flute and violin, Naomi also plays team sports such as competitive volleyball and running, as well as leisure activities including swimming and skiing.

Mary
Wilson

Mary began piano lessons at the age of 6 and is working on completing her level nine RCM. She continues to pursue her piano studies while also cultivating advanced choral and vocal skills.  She is passionate about interpreting the great classical masterpieces on the piano and reviving these beautiful works of music as well as  inspiring students in the mastery of them. Her goal as a teacher is to cultivate a love of music and an artistic approach to all forms of modern and contemporary pieces.

Rojina
Najafi

Music has been a significant part of my life for the past 9 years. I began weekly piano lessons at the age of 6, encouraged by my parents, and at the beginning I saw piano as simply another activity. Although I grew to love music in a music-filled home, my early learning was very structured with limited opportunities to explore music I personally connected to. This experience shaped my teaching approach, with the goal of providing a space where young beginners feel free to express themselves. I began my music journey with the Royal Conservatory of Music and later continued with Pedal Piano Academy in Iran, where I currently study advanced repertoire, technique, and music theory. Over the years, I’ve explored a wide range of music styles including baroque, contemporary, pop, film arrangements, and modern pieces. Because of these experiences, I am committed to creating an encouraging environment where students feel passionate and inspired.

Aaron

I started drum lessons at the age of 5 and have continued with formal weekly lessons ever since. My teachers have trained me in music techniques, solfeggio, sight-reading, and performance. I’ve played in school bands and junior orchestras as a percussionist to enrich my musical experience, and I also serve as a drummer in church bands. I’m deeply passionate about music production—creating music is my everyday language. I am very enthusiastic about music and computers, tech sounds, music recording, and every week I spend a great amount of time exploring different programs. Even at a young age, I’ve gained valuable experience and I am fully committed to growing as both a performer and a creator. I enjoy teaching young beginners. My personality and music understanding helps me approach my students with patience and care.

Laura is a supportive, kind and knowledgeable teacher. We cannot wait for our son to start in his musical journey learning guitar at Cadenza Music Collective. We look forward to the many more years!

We have been attending Cadenza Music since 2019 when my daughter was only 4. She is now 10 and has had a great experience, always wanting to return every year. We now have a second child who asks to continue with lessons each year. I would recommend this music studio to anyone looking for music lessons in Wasaga Beach!
